Chinn Rother & Associates is a generation following of Chinn & Associates, Inc. Architects that was originally founded in 1961. The original business owner, Pon Y. Chinn, of Columbia, MO was the architect for numerous projects in and around Columbia, notably the Columbia Regional Airport, downtown bank facility for Boone County Bank, branch facilities, City of Columbia Housing Authority Office Building, Woodhaven Office Bldg., A.L. Gustin Club House, L.A. Nichols and Lake of the Woods Clubhouse, Downtown Canopy Project and many notable residents. Daughter, Kimi Chinn Rother, joined the firm in 1981. Now semi-retired and practicing on a limited basis and managing rental property for the family through Chinn Rother & Associates since 2011.
